Step-by-step guide for Admission Process
LATVIA

1. Application Form and Documents

Fill in online application form with attached documents or send the documents to the admission manager:

● Secondary Education Certificate 10+2 (with Apostille)

● Last Graduation Certificate (with Apostille)

● IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English language certificate or B2 level proof

● Curriculum Vitae

● Passport copy (together with the residence address page)

3. Final Application Examination

After the successful payment of the registration fee, the student will be required to book an appointment for a Skype interview. You can also choose to do it via Zoom.

5. Preparation of Initial Documents' Pack

While you are waiting for AIC results, you should start to prepare the required documents for VISA

and Residence Permit process.

7. Welcome To Latvia

When student comes to Latvia, they submits the original documents to obtain the residence permit and start studying. Our post-arrival manager will guide the student through all the steps in securing their Residence Permit.

2. Registration Fee

After the initial assessment of the documents, the education institution issues the conditional acceptance letter and registration fee invoice in order to proceed with the application.


Registration fee is 250 - 500 EUR depending on the university (non-refundable). Education documents will be evaluated before receiving the registration fee - this is one of the advantage of working with EDUCATION BRIDGE

4. AIC (Academic Information Center)

Academic recognition of foreign qualifications/certificates. AIC evaluates the level of your qualification compared to the education system of Latvia and issues its statement. This statement together with the education document should be submitted to the education establishment.


This step takes 2.5 to 3 months.


The final admission letter will be given after receiving the final confirmation about your educational documents from the AIC.

6. Study Agreement and VSF (Visa support file)

Once we receive the AIC assessment, 


Student submits tuition fee payments stated in acceptance letter and invoice!


The student received an EB agreement (terms of service) which must be signed and sent back


After payment has been received, we will provide you with a study agreement.


The education institution issues the VISA SUPPORT FILE with an INVITATION NUMBER after a signed study agreement and a VALID RENTAL CONTRACT has been sent to us.


RENTAL CONTRACT MUST BE ACQUIRED BY THE STUDENT THEMSELVES. A written confirmation must be sent to us for processing. You can also obtain one from us for an additional charge. 


The student contacts the Embassy of Latvia to provide the invitation number and arrange an interview. Alternatively, the student can do all VISA application procedures with VFS Global depending on their application (VISA or TRP)

LITHUANIA

1. Application Form and Documents

Fill in the online application form with the attached documents 
OR

Send the documents to an EB Admission Manager

● Secondary Education Certificate 10+2 

● Last Graduation Certificate 

● IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English language certificate or proof of B2 Level English proficiency

● CV 

● Passport copy (together with the residence address page)

● One Photo [35×45]

● Motivational Letter 

3. SKVC Verification

Once the interview is passed, there will be an SKVC verification process.


PLEASE SUBMIT ONLY SCANNED COPIES (pdf format) from an actual scanner because Phone scanner copies are rejected by SKVC verification.


SKVC verification result comes out in 40-60 days 


The applicant is provided with the Acceptance letter and tuition fee invoice


SKVC verification is not mandatory for Visa or TRP process and therefore can be skipped if your Education Bridge manager advice accordingly. 

5. TRP submission process

Once all the TRP documents are ready, the Admission manager will guide you and compile all the documents with you for your submission, 


The documents will be submitted by the EB team and we will help you get your appointment for Biometrics submission. 


Once the Biometrics is done and the Visa interview is attended, you get your TRP decision in about 1-2 weeks, and you receive the TRP in hand in another 1-2 weeks. 

2. Registration Fee and Conditional Acceptance Letter

The student receives the following documents:

1. Registration fee invoice including the first part of the processing fee
2. Conditional Acceptance Letter (for Select universities)


Once the payment is made and confirmed by the EB team, the student books a pre-interview with the EB team


For certain Lithuanian Universities, the student is only required to attend the EB interview and for others, you will be prepared by the EB team to attend the final Interview with the university directly. 


In case you attend a university interview, you will receive a Conditional Acceptance Letter after this stage.

4. Confirmation of Studies and Mediation Number

The student is provided with the following documents 

1. Invoice covering tuition fee and the second part of the processing fee
2. EB agreement


The student signs the EB agreement and sends it back. The student also processes the remaining payment.


Once the payment is received, study contract, mediation number and all visa support files are processed by the EB Admission manager and sent to the student.

6. Welcome to Lithuania

Once you receive the TRP card, you can fly to Lithuania and start your studies.
